Davco® K10 Sovacryl PH

Acrylic Liquid Applied Membrane for Facade and Roofs

Davco® K10 Sovacryl PH is a liquid applied waterproofing membrane for roofs and facades. Applied in a thick layer, the coating forms a flexible film which adapts to the surface changes caused by tension or expansion. Davco® K10 Sovacryl PH is also designed to be used for 5-layer fabric reinforced waterproofing system for UV exposed, positive waterproofing.

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

  • The surface must be sound and free from irregularities, sharp projections, loose particles, oil, grease, coating, moss, mold, and any foreign matter. 
  • Surface must have sufficient slove to avoid water ponding
  • Any voids or potholes must be filled with approved repair material (e.g. SikaGrout®, Sikadur®, Lanko®)
  • The area must be dry. 

APPLICATION

Priming:

  • For old concrete, it is highly recommended to use Davco K10 Acrylic Primer

Application:

  1. Stir Davco® K10 Sovacryl PH well prior to use.
  2. Once the substrate is prepared, spread Davco® K10 Sovacryl PH onto the substrate using a roller, brush, steel trowel, or airless spray.
  3. Allow the previous coat to dry prior to application of the next coat.
  4. Apply next coat of Davco® K10 Sovacryl PH. Add additional coats if needed and if reinforced.
