SUPERFINE SKIMCOAT RENDERING POWDER FOR INTERIOR & EXTERIOR WALL AND CEILING

Lanko 110 LankoSkim is a smooth powder skimcoat for repair of concrete or render surface defects. Surface blemishes such as grooves, seams, fine cracks and rock pockets can be eliminated producing a smooth finish.

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

  • The substrate must be clean, sound, dust-free and without any traces of oil, laitance, paint or curing compound.
  • New concrete must be cured for 28 days.
  • New rendered substrates must be cured for 3-7 days.
  • Overplus and seams must be struck off.
  • Soak the substrates before application.

MIXING

  • Machine-mix or hand-mix one 20kg bag of Lanko 110 LankoSkim with 6.8 - 7.4 liters of clean water (approximately 34% - 37% water content) until the compound is evenly distributed and no lumps are present.
  • Leave the mixture to stand for several minutes.

APPLICATION

  • Apply mortar with a stainless steel trowel or steel pallet. Two coats minimum application.
  • Depending on the desired finish, one or more coats may be applied.
  • The surface of Lanko 110 LankoSkim can be lightly sanded.
