Acrylic primer prior to waterproofing

Davco® K10 Acrylic Primer is used as a primer, sealer and bonding agent to prepare floor surfaces prior to the application of waterproofing membrane & wall-coating system.

  • Reduce dust and increase abrasion resistance of the substrate
  • Act as a bonding agent on smooth concrete finishes
  • Prime and use as a bonding agent on smooth concrete finishes
  • Seal pores on rough porous concrete to eliminate air bubbles

Usage

  • Primer for Davco K10 Premium and Davco K10 Sovacryl prior to waterproofing of floors/decks and walls

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

  • The substrate must be clean, sound, dust-free and without any traces of oil, laitance, curing compound, wax, grease or paint.
  • Cementitious substrates must already be sufficiently cured
  • Substrate must be dry.

APPLICATION

  • Apply a regular coat using a brush or roller.
  • Drying time: 1 - 2 hours depending on the substrate, temperature, and relative humidity.
  • DAVCO K10 ACRYLIC PRIMER can be covered as soon as it is touch-dry (tacky).
