Sika® CarboDur® S

As a result of intensive research work at the Federal Testing and Research Centre (EMPA) in Dübendorf, it is now possible to make bonded reinforcement for reinforced concrete, masonry, stonework, steel, aluminum and timber structures with corrosion-resistant plates made of carbon fibre reinforced polymers (CFRP). Economically development work by Sika AG was made so that it is possible to apply the CarboDur system, after preparation of the surface, without any other installations.
