SikaWall®-113 Rendering Mortar

Used for repairing surface defects on concrete panels, reinforced concrete structures, and precast concrete elements.

SikaWall® 113 is a fine rendering mortar designed for repairing surface defects on concrete panels, reinforced or traditional rendered walls, and ceilings. It is suitable for applications with a thickness ranging from 2 mm to 10 mm.

Application steps

SUBSTRATE PREPARATION

The substrate must be rough, clean, sound, and free from dust, as well as free of any traces of oil, laitance, paint, or curing compounds. Remove any excess material, overpour, or seams by striking off and leveling the surface. Dampen the substrate before application using a sponge or cloth, ensuring the surface is moist but not saturated.

MIXING

Machine‑mix or hand‑mix (1) 25 kg bag of SikaWall® 113 with 4.5 – 5.5 liters of clean water until a uniform, lump‑free consistency is achieved. Do not add water once mixing is complete. Allow the mixture to rest for 1–2 minutes. Remix briefly before application.

APPLICATION

Apply the mortar using a stainless-steel trowel or rubber float. Allow the material to set slightly before finishing; finish the surface by lightly rubbing in a circular motion using: a steel trowel for a semi‑smooth finish, or a rubber or wood float for a rougher texture finished. Allow a minimum curing time of 7 days (depending on application thickness and atmospheric conditions) before applying any covering material.

CLEANING OF TOOLS

Clean all tools and application equipment with water immediately after use.

Hardened or cured materials can be only mechanically removed.
